Eligibility: To be considered for the undergraduate scholarship programs, you must be classified as a sophomore, junior or senior (have successfully completed a total of at least 28 hours by the end of the Spring 2008 Semester) and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. These scholarships are NOT available for the summer term.
Some awards are based primarily on academic excellence, while others are based on a combination of academic excellence and demonstrated financial need. Since a number of these awards are based on demonstrated financial need, you are encouraged to complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1, 2008.
Application Deadline: While the original due date of Friday, February 1, 2008, is now past, we are pleased to accept your application. However, most awards made from this application will go to students who applied by the February 1 deadline. Once initial awards are made, we may consider making awards to students who applied after the February 1 deadline, depending on the availability of funds.
Who Should Apply: Continuing OSU undergraduate students currently enrolled in course work during a regular semester (fall or spring), or readmitted students. A readmitted student is defined as an undergraduate student who has previously attended OSU and is returning after an absence of at least one regular semester (fall or spring).
Scholarship information for new freshmen and transfer students is available in "Applying to OSU."
